Using several iPads at once
Every coach on deck can work from their own iPad on the same Hub.
Any number of iPads can join the same Hub. Each one works on its own, so one coach can record the sprint group while another reviews a distance swimmer's last 200.
Set up each iPad
Install the SwimClips app.
Join the SwimClips WiFi network.
Pick your group with the left button, bottom right of the Live tab.
What each coach can do
Work in their own group. Each iPad picks its own team or group, so swimmer lists don't get mixed up.
Record and review at the same time. One iPad can record while another plays back.
Add their own angle. Each coach can open their iPad's camera as an extra recording angle.
Heads up: a camera that's already recording can't start a second recording. If one coach is recording on every camera, the others can watch and review, but not record on those cameras until it stops.
Let swimmers review their own swims
Leave a second iPad at the wall while you record from the first. Swimmers open any recording, then tap the clock icon in the top bar to jump to the latest swims and find their own. They watch at the wall while you keep the set moving.
Example: two coaches, four cameras
Coach A taps cameras 1 and 2, Coach B taps cameras 3 and 4, and each opens their own iPad camera. Both can record at once, and each gets a three-angle video of their own swimmer.
